Dog Off-Leash In Common Areas of Complex

    Ongoing Complaints Townhouse 73

On Friday 7th August at 19:39pm I was standing outside U14 with 3 friends.

1st friend is holding Cheeka in her arms.

I went straight into PTSD mode.

Here is an audio of what happened.

The ladies kept asking 73 to put his dog on a leash.

    73 said, Sorry.

    I said, No you're not.

    Huh?

You're not sorry because you keep doing it.

I have been standing up for this issue for 12 years.

Off-leash owners hate being called out.

They always expect that "sorry" is a free pass to keep keep having their dog off-leash any time that they want.

73 was devoid of respect for all common areas of the complex being an on-leash area 24/7.

73 gas lit me telling me there is no common area and it is not his issue.

73 told me to take my medication at least twice.

When he said, (walk up the stairs) "Knock on my door and bring me the footage"

I told him to piss off.

Both of his phrases just heightened my PTSD.

The guy is not aware of anyone other than himself.

It is the dog owners who think that their actions are not hurting others who are The Problem.

If 73 continues to get away with this, other reckless dog owners will think it is ok for them too.

    We all signed Tenancy Agreements.

We all have to abide by The Good Neighbour Policy,

    The Companion Animals Act,

    The Anti-Social Behaviour Policy,

and for tenants not to violate The Disability Discrimination Act.

If HNSW does not nip anti-social behaviour in the bud, the problem only gets worse.

This takes a up a LOT of time for all parties involved.

We have now made multiple complaints.

    Requested Action:

Bring the tenant into Strawberry for an interview and to remind him of his responsibilities.

I am strongly requesting that you please call 73 into the office for an interview and to remind him of his responsibilites.

I am also requesting that you please do a STRONG letter to all of the residents.

My mail is being stolen by the man opposite me.

If you do a letter box drop to all residents, could I please have mine sent via email.

As HP Property is private land, Council will not attend for breaches of The CAA.

They used to and they were really cleaning up.

(Its a political issue and I have been abused and bullied for years).

I am imploring Homes NSW to please make the new tenant from 73 STOP

allowing his dog to be unattended for toilet breaks

as well as the man from 73 allowing her to be

without the dog and human connected to both ends of the leash in the complex.

    Respectfully

    M.F.
